Mrs. Sara Sanders reported that Academy ISD hosted the area’s Special Olympics Basketball Games with district-wide involvement and presented data on campus totals, growth, and staffing related to Special Programs.
Communications and marketing staff summarized outreach efforts, saying staff have been intentional about inviting families to events via social media, newsletters and emails. Trustees heard that marketing efforts were successful and that staff will continue outreach to increase family engagement at campus events.
