Residents and a developer press Lakeway planners on connectivity and proactive redevelopment zones

Bill Hayes, a resident who also said he is a developer, recommended the city create redevelopment zones and incentives so the public knows where changes are likely and developers have a clearer path to proposals; he said proactive guidance could reduce delays and community surprise when projects are proposed. Presenters said the transportation plan and future land use map will incorporate connectivity and provide a forum for continued input.
