The K Company’s written proposal (included in the board packet) described removing the existing unit and installing a Bryan RV700‑W‑FDG forced‑draft gas‑fired water‑tube boiler, replacing hot‑water primary pumps with VFDs, reconnecting piping and controls, start‑up and testing, and a ten‑year limited boiler warranty plus a one‑year labor warranty. The proposal notes exclusions including temporary heating, taxes, hazardous‑materials abatement and glycol/chemical treatment.
The board approved the contract under cooperative council purchasing provisions as outlined in the package. The vendor’s proposal stated the total price and listed installation steps and warranty terms, and the district will proceed with project coordination and scheduling with the vendor.
