On a motion by Supervisor Michael Walsh, seconded by Supervisor Stephen Putman, “the A‑Z Tree Service, LLC estimate to Remove with Stump Grind Behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive, in the amount of $600, was approved,” according to the meeting minutes. The estimate approved was one of three A‑Z proposals presented; the others were a cleanup/trim for $350 and a forestry mulch option for $5,475.
Resident Don Brothers had reported that a hurricane‑damaged, invasive tree and a debris pile on CDD land behind the property created a hazard that could fall on nearby homes during a storm. Supervisor Putman inspected and photographed the area prior to the vote; the approved $600 action addresses removal and stump grinding at that single property.
The District Manager, Chuck Adams, noted additional repair quotes are being obtained for unrelated property damage (a damaged cover from a moving truck) and that item will return to the Board at a future meeting.
