The board reviewed several routine operations and maintenance items during the Oct. 15 meeting. Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked whether an additional bench had been installed in Paleo Park; Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz said he would check with Gary. Mr. Gatz confirmed mowing schedules for certain retention areas had been adjusted and said it will take time to evaluate whether the changes are sufficient.
The board discussed a resident’s construction project alleged to encroach on an EDRA and to have damaged an EDRA bank. Mr. Gatz reported he had confirmed the homeowner obtained the appropriate permits and approvals; he recommended waiting until construction is completed to determine whether any erosion issues arise. The board gave no immediate directives beyond monitoring and inspection.
