Staff recommended a joint work session with the city council to review catalytic projects and the city's active transportation plan, which was produced as part of a tri-city grant and is referenced (but not adopted) in the general plan.
Commissioners asked for the active transportation plan materials and staff said she would send them and that chapter 7 of the general plan contains the implementation notes. Commissioners discussed whether to stray from earlier plan recommendations and suggested staff analyze alternatives and possibly commission an in-house study prior to any major departures from the active transportation plan.
