Tupper Lake trustees approve $828,067.48 warrant; auditors scheduled for annual report

The Village of Tupper Lake Board of Trustees on Sept. 16 approved a warrant for payment of August bills totaling $828,067.48.
"Motion by Trustee Shaheen, seconded by Trustee McClain to approve the September 16, 2024, warrant in the amount of $828,067.48 for payment of the bills and abstracts for the month of August 2024," the minutes record; the motion carried 5–0. Clerk/Treasurer Mary A. Casagrain reviewed the village cash position as of Aug. 31 and reminded trustees that auditors from Bollam, Sheedy & Torani, PC will be on site this week to complete the Village's Annual Financial Report for submission to the New York State Comptroller.
No budget amendments were presented at the meeting. The board approved routine monthly reports and will consider audit findings when the auditors complete the financial report.
