Centerville ISD renews several administrative contracts; one renewal recorded with an abstention

The Centerville ISD School Board approved renewals of administrative contracts during the Feb. 16 meeting. On a motion by Lana Marcus, seconded by Tuffy Loftin, the board renewed contracts for Claudia Mordecai, Stephen Williams and Cara Dudley; the motion carried with all trustees voting in favor.
In a separate motion to renew an administrative contract for Kyle Hardee, trustees again approved renewal but the record shows Charles Nash abstained; the tally on that item was recorded as five yeas and one abstention. The board then entered an executive session under Texas Government Code §551.074 for personnel at 6:56 p.m. and returned at 7:31 p.m.; no action followed the executive session.
