Superintendent Shawn Durbin presented a quote from Ballinger Concrete to repair concrete at the bottom of one water-tower leg; after discussion the council approved the $1,800 quote (motion by Commissioner Letizia, seconded by Commissioner Edwards, carried 5-0).
City Clerk Brenda Evans reminded the council that Engineer Beckman suggested the city consider replacing older sewer lines and that grants are available; the council voted 5-0 to apply for sewer grants. Evans also presented two ITEP shared-path invoices — $58,500 for mobilization and $200,974.90 for completed work — and the council approved payment of both invoices in a single motion, 5-0.
