The Neoga City Council approved Aug. 26 the lower of two bids — $2,357.92 — to repair the entrance pillars and sign at Neoga Memorial Cemetery.
City Clerk Brenda Evans reported two quotes (one for $2,357.92, the other for $5,800). Commissioner Letizia moved to accept the $2,357.92 bid and Commissioner Edwards seconded; the motion carried 5-0. Separately, the council discussed tree removal at the cemetery and decided to table that item until additional bids are received.
