Mayor Behnken corrected the address of agenda item 5.1.1 to 1105 S. Mill St. and reported that the 502 Johnson St. property remains tied up between tax buyers, delaying village possession until July 2026. Trustee Newbold moved and Trustee Politsch seconded a motion "to obtain a judicial deed on the property at 1105 S. Mill," and the motion passed with all trustees voting aye.
The board also considered a real estate lease with Medstar Ambulance. Trustee Newbold moved to accept the lease and Trustee Fitzgerald seconded; the motion was approved unanimously. These property and lease actions were approved as part of the mayor's report and recorded in the meeting minutes.
