The minutes record the council asking staff to prepare a fee resolution stating that “the first two lift assists would be free of charge, but any repetitions beyond that would be charged.” Council also directed Deputy Fire Chief Meiners to draft a resolution establishing a schedule of fees for false fire alarm calls. The council did not adopt the fee schedule at the meeting; staff follow-up and a future council action are required to implement any charges.
