At its Aug. 6 special call meeting the Denison City Council recorded unanimous approval of two ordinances related to the Preston Harbor Public Improvement District. The first ordinance adopted a service and assessment plan and assessment rolls for two improvement areas in the PID; the second authorized issuance of Series 2026 special assessment revenue bonds and related documents to finance those improvements.
Motions and outcomes: Councilman Redwine moved and Councilman Thorn seconded adoption of the service and assessment plan (motion carried unanimously). Council member Thomas moved and Councilman Redwine seconded the ordinance authorizing bond issuance (motion carried unanimously).
