River Ridge to participate in Pelican Sound Safeguard Panel objectives; sidewalk inspection report due in January

Board Chair Bob Schultz said Pelican Sound leadership would discuss a community-mitigation initiative later in the meeting; the board agreed the CDD will participate in the Pelican Sound Community Safeguard Panel. The CDD will be involved in Objective 2 (natural‑disaster safeguarding) with Keith Merrill representing the district, and Objective 4 (street safety) with Robert Twombly representing the district.
Eric Long said he emailed communities an updated Action Plan of seven objectives and will update the board after the panel's first meeting, scheduled for December. Charlie Krebs said sidewalk inspection reports are being finalized and repair estimates will be presented at the January meeting; he will begin line‑of‑sight inspections.
