Counsel, engineer summarize competing claims on Corkscrew Road ownership; town‑hall focus noted

District counsel Tony Pires told the board his opinion about ownership of Corkscrew Road (west of U.S. 41) remains unchanged after retrieving documents; he and engineer Charlie Krebs summarized the county’s and the Village of Estero’s respective positions based on historic memoranda and records.
PSGRC President Neil Collins summarized town-hall discussions, saying concerns are focused on the U.S. 41 intersection and the east side of Corkscrew Road; Mr. Wilhems confirmed that Johnson Engineering’s inspection will include the west side as well.
