River Ridge CDD sets FY2025 goals and performance measures under new HB7013 requirements

District counsel and staff briefed the Board on newly adopted state legislation (HB7013) requiring special districts to establish annual goals, performance measures, and standards. Mrs. Adams, Mr. Pires and Mr. Adams outlined categories and said staff collaborated to develop general performance measures focusing on Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
The Board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form. The minutes record that "The initial Report is due on December 1, 2025 and must be posted on the CDD website." The Board added the task to the Key Activity Dates list and approved directing staff to finalize statutorily compliant goals for each focus area.
