Board appoints resident Keith Merrill to vacant Seat 1; takes oath
Summary

Chair Bob Schultz nominated Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1 (term expires Nov. 2026). On motion by Mr. Schultz and seconded by Mr. Twombly, the Board voted unanimously to appoint Merrill.
Mrs. Adams, a state notary, administered the Oath of Office to Merrill. Mrs. Adams and District Counsel Tony Pires reviewed the obligations of serving on a CDD board, including required ethics training and Form 1 filing, the Sunshine Law and the Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, and Form 8B memorandum requirements for voting conflicts.
