Staff briefs commissioners on comp-plan review, zoning-map updates and EDA business supports; tower application noted

Kelly Evko, Director of Economic Development, outlined two EDA initiatives: a free, self-paced entrepreneur class offered through a partnership with Start-Up Virginia and a business directory being developed through the Member Marketplace; Evko also announced recipients of the EDA's Marketing & Social Media Support Scholarship. Staff informed the Commission of an upcoming communications tower application in the Walkerton area.
