Later the council approved spending between $7,200.00 and $14,800 for Olsson’s scope and grant-application costs for the Bennet Safety Action Plan (motion by Simmons, second by Schmidt; YES: Buck, Schmidt, Simmons). Pete Simmons moved and Jesse Schmidt seconded a motion to go into closed session at 9:20 PM for legal advice regarding threatening or pending litigation; the motion carried on a roll-call vote (YES: Simmons, Buck, Schmidt). The council returned to open session at 9:33 PM and adjourned at 9:34 PM after a final recorded motion.
