Eustace said construction limited parking availability but that work finished striping and leveling had gained about 200 parking spots near the softball field and performing-arts center. "Cherokee Nation had donated some money to that program," Eustace said, drawing appreciation from the council. He also outlined a staggered move into the new building timed around the Cherokee holiday and said the school will adapt pickup and bus-route logistics after the move.
Eustace said coaches and students began earlier athletic practice this year (football started a week earlier) and that the school will host freshman orientation and other fall activities as construction schedules allow.
