Los Lunas Council approves four hires for facilities, parks and recreation

Mayor Charles Griego recommended several personnel appointments during the reconvened portion of the May 21 meeting following executive session. The Council approved hiring Joshua Duran as Facility Maintenance Technician II, Aden Pairett as a Park Ranger in the Open Space Division, and two part-time Recreation Aides, Ava Eylicio and Jamie (Jamie/Jamie) Borunda, by individual motions; each hiring motion carried 3-0.
Each motion was moved and seconded by Councilors as recorded in the minutes: the hiring of Joshua Duran was moved by Councilor Gino Romero and seconded by Councilor James Runyon; Aden Pairett's hire was moved by Councilor Matthew Chavez and seconded by Councilor Runyon; Ava Eylicio and Jamie Borunda were approved in separate motions recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not report additional terms of employment, salary amounts or effective start dates for the hires beyond the approvals recorded at the meeting.
