Fort Lee approves five-year municipal services agreement with Kensington Park and Royal Buckingham

The Mayor & Council approved Resolution R-1 authorizing a five-year agreement with Kensington Park Condominium Association and the Royal Buckingham for reimbursement of qualified municipal services. The agreement is retroactive to Jan.1,2026 and provides an annual payment of $30,000 to cover services such as snow removal and leaf collection under the Municipal Services Act (N.J.S.A.40:67-23.2 et seq.). Councilman Cervieri recused from the vote and left the dais for that item.
The resolution requires the mayor to execute the agreement and directs that the executed contract and resolution be available for public inspection in the borough clerk's office. The Chief Financial Officer certified funds are available from account 6-01-26-3052-133 for the reimbursement.
