City schedules block party and full-day tours on Aug. 22 to celebrate new high school

August 22," Golden said, and commissioners added that Town Meeting TV will film the event and that there will be limited speaker slots.
Polly Vanderpooten and Polly Erickson encouraged families and alumni to attend; Vanderpooten said tours will also be available through Labor Day weekend for those who cannot attend the celebration. The commissioners described food, activities for school-aged children and demonstrations by sports teams as part of the day's program.
