The Montecito Sanitary District Governing Board convened a regular meeting at 2:12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, but the session was immediately adjourned one minute later for lack of a quorum. The minutes state, "The meeting was adjourned at 2:13 p.m. due to lack of quorum." The record notes the meeting was broadcast using Zoom teleconferencing.
Directors Barrett and Rockenbach were present in person and Director Ohlmann participated by teleconference; Directors Johnson and Newquist were absent. Also listed as present were John Weingold, MSD general manager; Stephen Williams, MSD business and administrative manager (who prepared the minutes); Lisa S. Martin, clerk of the board; and Aleks Giragosian, district legal counsel. The minutes indicate they were presented for approval at the regular board meeting scheduled for March 11, 2026. No formal business, motions, or votes were taken because the board lacked a quorum.
