Amphitheater booked for May 31–June 1 concert; staff considers improvements

Administrator Marina McTaggart said a production company finalized rental of the Amphitheater for a concert series on May 31–June 1, 2025.
McTaggart reported growing interest in Amphitheater rentals, partly because incoming Inn on the Russian River wedding clients sometimes use the Meadow for overflow. To reduce interference with Meadow renters, staff discussed posting beach-entrance signage banning amplified music and alcohol and considered painting the playhouse interior and replacing barn doors; Park Supervisor Leslie Hofelich will research labor and materials costs.
McTaggart also said the Empowerment Center use agreement was renewed for another year and that the Center expects to move to Guerneville in late 2025 or early 2026.
