During the airport director's report, Amanda told the commission that Enterprise has finalized agreements to place rental cars at the terminal along with online booking opportunities and that Enterprise will provide promotional poster boards for the terminal. "We have the agreements. We have the vehicles out there, and we are ready to go," she said.
Amanda also said the city is finishing purchase of an existing hangar (described as about 8,000 square feet) to provide additional FBO capacity and space for rental-car parking shelters. She said the fuel farm will be repiped and upgraded in November in work expected to take about a week, and that a new fire truck is built and "sitting in Oshkosh" awaiting foam delivery with anticipated delivery in November. Commissioners thanked staff for coordinating those projects and said they would serve airport customers and operations.
