Omak library schedules end-of-summer celebration for Aug. 8

Alyssa Cruz-Uribe, Omak’s supervising librarian, told the city council the library’s end-of-summer celebration is scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature music, games, prizes and food, and Native Hip‑Hop Northwest is slated to perform.
Cruz-Uribe said the celebration will also provide an opportunity for attendees to view the library prior to planned interior renovations. She invited council members and the public to attend and support the program.
