The Board of County Commissioners awarded a $63,810 contract to Black Jack Concrete & Building LLC to repair the courthouse circle drive. Pat Richter, Building Maintenance Supervisor, told the board that Frontier Concrete Construction, LLC was invited to bid but could not complete the project this year; the board approved Black Jack's bid by motion of Commissioner Keith Kelly with Commissioner Linda Gerhardt seconding. The motion passed 3–0.
Project planning anticipates a mid‑September start and roughly a one‑month construction period. The board did not add conditions to the award in the public minutes; the county will issue the contract and coordinate scheduling with the vendor.
