Board delays Right of Entry agreement with Georgia Power for attorney edits

County Manager Jim Carter asked the board on July 13 to table a proposed Right of Entry Agreement with Georgia Power so edits drafted by the county attorney can be incorporated and forwarded to Georgia Power for review. The board agreed to delay action and the item was tabled until the next meeting.
Commissioner Greg Wood moved to table the agreement; Commissioner Melissa Hughes seconded and the motion carried 6-0. County staff will share the attorney's edited draft with Georgia Power before the item returns to the board.
