The Leonardtown Council approved a staff recommendation to provide a letter of support for a Class D beer, wine and liquor license at the Fenwick Inn, 41685 Fenwick Street, under new ownership. Staff explained the new owners will obtain a license specifically for that site and the council’s letter would confirm municipal support for operation that includes the grounds and a rear pavilion.
"I'm going to approve the liquor license letter of support for Daniel Tricia Simpson on the Fenwick Inn at 41685 Fenwick Street for a class d beer, wine, and liquor license to include the grounds and pavilion in the rear of the property," a council member said while moving the motion; the motion was seconded and approved by a voice vote with no recorded opposition.
