Miss Whitecutton, representing the Curry Resident Senior Meals Association, reviewed recent service numbers and announced a required public hearing for older persons on Sept. 27 to solicit participation in planning and operation of community-based services.
"On September 27, we are gonna have a public hearing, and everybody's invited to come," Whitecutton said. She noted the association is breaking down meal-delivery and congregate-meal numbers in distributed papers and will hold its board meeting Sept. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Committee members asked about trends and were told recent month-to-month variance reflected deaths and clients moving in with family and that the September column reflected only days into the month.
