Hillcrest Senior Life Center schedules health expo, month-long activities

Linda Thrower, representing Hillcrest Senior Life Center, presented a calendar of upcoming activities and promoted a Health & Information Expo scheduled for Oct. 2 at 10:00 a.m.
"It's gonna be held at the Hillcrest Senior Life Center starting at 10:00 in the morning. We have the Blue Cross Blue Shield caravan there. We'll have Presbyterian pharmacy providing flu vaccinations," Thrower said, listing community partners and about 15 vendor tables. She previewed September events (cooking classes, pool tournaments, birthday celebrations, a masquerade ball) and said Hillcrest will host ongoing monthly learning sessions and webinars in October on legal resources for seniors.
