Whitley also outlined a single-day art parade and block party (staging 9–10 a.m., movement 10–11 a.m., block party ending at noon) intended to support downtown businesses and be family-friendly and free to the public. She noted coordination with the forester and engineering for tree protection and with partners including Jazz Aspen, Saturday Market, and History Colorado for archival photography and oral-history opportunities. Commissioners suggested using the event for HPC outreach and historic-education displays, including before-and-after photos of preservation projects.
