Board sets NEC‑course conditions for several Master applicants, approves Journeyman exam eligibility

During its Oct. 17 session the Electricians' Examining Board considered four examination applications. For Joseph Thomas III and Justin Hedrick the board approved preliminary denials but allowed each to take the Master examination after completing a 45‑hour NEC course from a board‑approved provider; Chuck Daigle moved both motions, each carrying 5–0.
The board approved Alex Hillbrown to test for a Journeyman license based on 4,000 hours but noted Hillbrown must clarify hours from Phillip Edwards' affidavit before final licensure. For Alex Scott the board acknowledged 8,000 work experience hours but said Scott still needed 4,000 NEC land experience for Master consideration and offered the applicant the option to withdraw the Master application and instead submit a Journeyman application after completing a 45‑hour NEC course; motion by George Howe carried 5–0.
