At the March 2 meeting, the Highland Falls Board approved several administrative and routine items including a $3,054 refund of unused escrow to MC Joint Venture, which the mayor described as cleanup of an account tied to a different project.
The board also authorized a quarterly postage-machine contract for Village Hall at $59.69 per month, approved a Recreation Department Easter egg hunt scheduled for March 28, 2026 at Grove Park, and approved a budget transfer of $1,599.12 from the general fund to workers' compensation via a short resolution. Trustees performed a roll call for the budget transfer and each named member answered "Yes." A 10-day vacation buyback for Deputy Treasurer Luciana Brown was also approved under the personnel handbook provisions.
