Highland Falls trustees confirm reorganization appointments and official depositories

During the reorganization portion of the April 6 meeting, Mayor Mike DeSalvo announced a slate of appointments and the board approved them by motion and roll call.
Appointments included James Ramos as deputy mayor; Jim DeSalvo named police and fire commissioner roles; Peter Carroll as street commissioner and several liaison and committee assignments for trustees. The board also approved one-year and two-year appointments for deputy treasurer Luciana Brown, deputy village clerk Catherine Luciani, village attorney Elise Terhune and labor counsel Rory Brady. The mayor read the list and the board approved the appointments by recorded vote.
The board moved and approved administrative housekeeping measures: JPMorgan Chase, KeyBank, Wauk Wall Valley Federal Savings and Loan, Hudson Valley Investment Advisor and NYCLASS were designated official depositories, and the News of the Highlands and Times Herald-Record were named official newspapers for village notices. The motions carried on roll call.
