Commissioners rescind previous sign contract and approve new $1,150 sign for 401 Olive Street

Phil Johnson told the board the contract previously awarded to Josette, LLC d/b/a FastSigns of Findlay was not fulfilled and that some contract parameters had changed; he presented Resolution #219-26 to rescind that authorization. Commissioner William L. Bateson moved to approve the rescission and Commissioner Timothy K. Bechtol seconded; motion passed 3-0.
Johnson then presented Resolution #220-26 to authorize a new contract with Chatelain Plastics, Inc. to fabricate and install a sign at 401 Olive Street at a recorded cost of $1,150.00. Commissioner Bateson moved to approve; Commissioner Bechtol seconded and the motion passed 3-0. Adam Miller told the board he was unsure of the installation timeframe; staff will coordinate timing with the contractor.
