Council approves consent agenda including payments and Palos Park library liquor license

The Village of Hillsborough council approved the consent agenda by a single motion, which included: (a) ratifying payment of invoices dated July 27, 2026 in the amount of $127,623.24; (b) approving a temporary liquor license for the Palos Park Public Library fundraiser set for Oct. 3, 2026 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.; (c) approving payments on the Aug. 10, 2026 warrant list for $137,082.94; and (d) approving a supplemental warrant for manual checks, payroll and recurring transfers totaling $538,244.22. The mayor called for the motion, a second was recorded and the clerk performed a roll call with affirmative responses from commissioners present.
Council members did not request separate consideration of any consent item. The clerk recorded roll-call affirmations (as read on the record) and the motion passed. The items will be executed under the direction of the board of commissioners as routine administrative actions.
