The Centre County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 8 of 2026 authorizing the filing of a proposal with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for the FY26 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program. Jeff Doebler introduced the resolution and recommended the application.
Doebler also asked the Board to approve a grant submission for FY26 ESG totaling $389,487.88 to be used from Jan. 1, 2027, through June 30, 2027 (Dept. 501); the Board approved the submission on a motion by Commissioner Amber Concepcion, seconded by Commissioner Steven Dershem. The resolution and submission authorize staff to proceed with the formal application to the state program.
