Commissioners hear Tech Park developer notice; approve payroll claims and adjourn

A county official told the commission that a developer plans significant work at the Tech Park's west side (off State Road 231) and that staff will provide more details over the next 60–90 days as documents and approvals are collected.
"There's a developer that wants to do quite a bit up at the Tech Park... they'll be paying their own costs associated, and they're developing the area just off of 231," the official said. The presenter described the proposal as "low risk to the county" because the developer would cover associated costs and the county's role will be approvals and oversight.
After that update the commission moved, seconded and approved payroll claims on a voice vote and adjourned the meeting.
