Steger Committee approves July minutes, adjourns; no votes on water rates
Summary

At the Aug. 18 Committee of the Whole meeting, Trustee Perchinski moved to approve the minutes from the July 21 meeting; Trustee Stewart seconded and a voice vote carried with all ayes. Later in the meeting Perchinski moved to adjourn; Trustee Trotier seconded and the meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
Officials discussed possible 2026 water-rate increases but did not introduce or vote on a specific rate. Mayor Joyce said he is awaiting finance department figures and that the Water Committee will reconvene with outside professionals to refine proposals before any formal action.
