PTA Joint Council: health fair success, partnerships with Northwell and Katz Institute

"We were very fortunate to welcome Dr. Valerie Altman and Anne Van de Veer from Northwell Health who spoke on menopause and healthy communication with our kids," Gingold said, noting the presentations offered practical tips and generated strong turnout. She thanked volunteers and said council looks forward to future programming, including a November 17 cookie-and-canvas event and a November food drive run by PTAs.
Gingold also summarized PTA activities at the elementary schools, middle school outreach on digital platforms and announced deadlines for districtwide student art reflections in mid-November. The council asked families to check local PTA pages for details and thanked district staff for their partnerships.
