Crossroads signage item deferred to Feb. 23 after owner not present

The Historic Preservation Board continued the agenda item for HPB-2026-001 COA, a sign installation for the Crossroads building, to the board's Feb. 23 meeting after the applicant requested a deferral.
Stephen Burke, representing Visual Impact Studios and the signage contractor Priority 1 Signs, said he could speak to the technical and electrical aspects of the signage but did not have authority to bind the property owner. "As far as from the signage, angle, yes. I'm not able to speak for the owner on specific things," Burke said.
Staff told the board they had received an email from the applicant requesting the item be deferred. The board moved to table the matter; the second was recorded and the board set the continuance to the Feb. 23, 2026 meeting at 6 p.m.
Burke thanked the board for hearing him and said, "Thanks everyone for their time and sorry about the mix up. I'll see you guys in a month."
