During commissioners' comments, County Clerk Pam Howlett presented awards for the Cleveland County Autumn Expressions Art Contest, open to Norman Public Schools students in grades 3–5. First place was awarded to Nora Brewer, a 4th grader at McKinley Elementary, who attended with her parents. Second place went to Caroline Krieger (4th grade, McKinley Elementary). Third place winner Kalani Whitney (4th grade, Truman Elementary) was not present.
The board also recognized the 28th Leadership Moore group by name; the minutes list attendees including Mike Allen, Kimberly Anderson, Paul Clark, Jagger Combs, Mandi Derryberry, Jeremiah Edwards, Whitley Hawkins, Patrick Ketcher, Lina McLellan, Trisha Marlow, Jennifer Martin, Mandy Mason, London Smith, Lieutenant Aaron Smith, and Zechariah Smith. The meeting adjourned at 1:13 P.M. after a motion by Rod Cleveland and a second by Rusty Grissom.
