Cleveland County commissioners approve consent agenda, select Consor North America for bridge inspections

Chairman Jacob McHughes moved to approve the consent items; the motion passed with Jacob McHughes, Rusty Grissom and Rod Cleveland voting yes. The consent agenda included approval of an invoice from Steve Owens Insurance Group that adds the Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall to coverage, totaling $49,743.12, and a Memorandum of Understanding with Hugs Street Ministry for a coat-collection program on county property.
The board also accepted bi-annual inventory reports from several departments — BOCC Districts 2 and 3, Emergency Management, OSU Extension, Purchasing and the Treasurer's Office — and approved a Purchasing Department resolution declaring a 2-drawer lateral file cabinet (Inventory ID SP104-18, original cost $351.23, acquired 5-19-2003) surplus and ordered it junked. Firetrol Protection Systems' annual monitoring fee of $312.00 for the Cleveland County Fairgrounds was approved as part of the consent items.
