On Monday prior to the Feb. 11 meeting a pipe burst in the northwest corner of the village office. Building manager Jennifer Alexander reported that she noticed water, attempted to contain it and that personnel and a resident stopped the flow and performed temporary repairs; the fax/laser printer was ruined in the incident.
The village received a $825 quote from South Shore Plumbing on Feb. 2 to repair a leak by the bar dishwasher and two bathroom toilet issues; the work will be scheduled once parts arrive. Trustees also said RFPs for HVAC, arborist, electrician and plumbing services (received Feb. 9) are under review with a decision planned March 4 and approvals on the March 11 board meeting agenda.
