Mayor Thomas P. Spier opened the village Board of Trustees meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and extended condolences to Lynn Gildea Stubbe after the sudden death of her husband, Doug Stubbe, who had just received approval to build a waterfront home at 125 Briarcliff Road.
Spier said the board is continuing its review of a proposed residency-code revision and is arranging a Building Committee meeting. He described the board as "working effectively and heading in a positive direction," and thanked staff for their work in recent weeks. The remarks were delivered during the formal opening and pledge of allegiance.
