Shoreham approves Earth Day celebration, tennis-court work and summer schedule

The board approved several community-event and recreation items on March 11, including the TSVA Earth Day celebration for April 26, 2026 (lower level, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.). Trustee Laura Baisch moved and the board approved the event 5–0.
Trustee Mariann Coogan said she will contact Laurel Group (Laurel Tennis) to schedule Har-Tru court reconditioning, noting its prior success with the village. "Following tonight’s approval, I will be contacting Laurel Group to get us on their calendar to recondition the tennis courts," Coogan said; the board approved the $5,000 estimate. Trustees also approved the summer schedule for Sun Brunch and weekly deck nights with specified start and end dates. All event and schedule motions passed unanimously.
