The Board of Trustees voted March 11 to approve three-year service contracts for plumbing and tree maintenance and to consolidate those services under single vendors.
Trustee Nancy Delagi said Maccarone Plumbing and Sunburst Tree were the sole respondents to their respective RFPs; the board approved both three-year agreements (April 1, 2026–March 31, 2029) and authorized execution. Clerk/Treasurer Laura Spillane explained the purpose: "The contracts consolidate our operations, ensuring we work with a single contractor for all plumbing issues and one dedicated arborist for tree maintenance." The contracts passed on unanimous votes.
The board also approved hiring Brad Hammond as a Building Department consultant at a rate of $100 per hour after Trustee Thomas McManus announced John Jarski's appointment as Building Department Commissioner and noted Hammond will remain available for consultation. Motions on the consultant and contracts were approved 5–0.
