At a Jan. 21, 2026 special work session, the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Shoreham reviewed a Nov. 3, 2025 discussion regarding parking stickers and the use of the village building. Trustees focused on clarifying who will have access to village amenities, including the beach, playground, paddle and clay tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field and surrounding parkland.
Mayor Thomas P. Spier told the board he will draw up a proposal for consideration at the next work session. Attendees recorded in the draft minutes include Trustees Mariann Coogan, Laura Baisch and Nancy Delagi, Clerk/Treasurer Laura Spillane and Steward/Building Manager Jennifer Alexander. No formal policy was adopted at the Jan. 21 meeting; next steps are for the mayor to present a written proposal at a future work session.
